2013 Challenger Jamboree
Warner Robins LL will Host 3rd Annual Georgia Challenger Jamboree May 18

Challenger teams from around the state are looking forward to their trip to Warner Robins American Little League for a day of fun and games. Each team plays 2-3 games and is treated to lunch by local businesses. This will be the 3rd year in a row the event has been hosted in Georgia. The 2011 Jamboree was held in Peachtree City and the 2012 Jamboree was hosted by Warner Robins.

To help get our District 4 Challengers to Warner Robins, volunteers will be needed to help plan the trip,

Sponsors will be needed to make this day as successful as possible with as little expense to the participants as possible.

The Challenger Division of Little League Baseball is for players with disabilities. Players may choose to have a "buddy" on the field with them or they may choose to play the game unassisted. Players are usually placed on Challenger teams by ability, with the more experienced players being in a Major Division and playing unassisted.

For more information about the Challenger Division, contact State Challenger Coordinator, Julie Haley. juliehaley@charter.net.
