Coaches Curing Kids Cancer
Coaches Curing Kids’ Cancer uses a simple concept: Children's sports teams donate the money raised for the coach's end-of-season gift to childhood cancer research. In return, the coach receives an original t-shirt, a certificate and the great feeling of helping kids kick cancer. It's easy to organize with the "Team Parent" package available on their website. The money you donate to Coaches Curing Kids’ Cancer goes to cutting edge pediatric cancer research, right here at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Grainne and Clay Owen lost one of their twin sons, Killian, to leukemia in 2003. They have been a part of our State Leadership Conferences since 2005 in order to bring awareness of their organization to our leagues. The greatest gift we can give our children is that of hope and caring - please join Grainne and Clay and countless others in the fight against childhood cancer!
