ASAP Newsletters

Starting in October 1998, Little League, with the help of Musco Lighting, began publishing ASAP Newsletters.  Every one of those Safety Newsletters can be found on the Little League website and are a wealth of information for leagues who are concerned about the safety of their players and volunteers.

We now have a National Average of 85% of leagues participating in safety programs!    Eight states achieved 100% participation in the ASAP program in 2009:  West Virginia, Virginia, Oregon, Delaware, Rhode Island, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming.

Georgia claimed 85% participation in 2009, but continues to lag behind the Southeast Region average of 91%.   However 3 districts in Georgia continue to have 100% participation yearly:   Districts 4, 7, and 10.
